First Friday, now a popular Williamsport tradition in its 13th year, is a community event that truly celebrates the arts. Its aim is to foster Williamsport’s well-deserved reputation as the cultural heart of Northcentral Pennsylvania by showcasing artists and their work, while also offering live music, entertainment and special events in a family-friendly atmosphere. Many of our wonderful downtown shops stay open late, and we invite you to enjoy our fantastic restaurants and pubs, too. In addition to the live, outdoor music & entertainment on Pine Street, you'll also find outstanding live music in almost all of our downtown pubs & clubs. Downtown comes alive during our First Friday celebrations ... and we welcome you to join the fun, enjoy the atmosphere and soak up some fabulous art!

SPECIAL FIRST FRIDAY PROGRAMS

Pine Street Arts Fest
During First Fridays, Pine Street between West Fourth & North Streets is closed to traffic (April through October), and artists can set up, show or sell their work on Pine Street from 5pm to 9pm for free. The Pine Street Arts Fest in April & November is subject to weather conditions. Artists can have a six-foot table or a three-panel display and a chair, but no booths, tents or food are allowed under our permit.
